been playing nhl rebuilt for the past year and have a good handle on the gameplay
however, i am still unable to figure out the fighting system
i know the controls but have no idea how to win a fight

usually land and block a few punches and it ends in a draw

How many real hockey fights actually end in a knockout? Maybe 1 out of 100.

That's why most fights in NHL04 end in a draw.

In v2 it's a bit different because that era you still had real enforcers. And challenging a heavyweight to a fight with a light/middleweight will end in a KO, in most cases.

Sometimes when your team has a big momentum you might KO the opponent. :)
