I voted for Boston... I have a feeling that Tim Thomas is going to win the Cup for them. I'm rooting for San Jose this year though... because of Antti Niemi. Wouldn't mind Teemu Selanne's 2nd Cup, either. |

I voted for Canucks, as they have very strong team. San Jose wouldn't be surprise, either. Although I'm cheering for Ducks. Cup for Koivu and Selänne would be amazing! |

Voted for Flyers, but I as well cheer for Ducks. Koivu would deserve to win the Cup at least once. |

I want to see Vancouver win it, they have a team that can do it and it's been too long since a Canadian team hoisted lord stanley You also can't argue that they deserve it after the record making season they had. If I'm honest, I do think detroit is most likely going to end up with it. |

Saw the Canucks game and the Pittsburgh one last night. Man it was good playoff hockey. I think the Pit-TB series is underrated, both teams were well coached and played well except for a 30 second brain cramp by the TB defence. And the goalies were amazing, Fleury especially made some ridiculous saves so it was a close game. As for the Vancouver game, same story with Luongo playing his best hockey at times lately and he also got help because Chicago hit the post 3 or 4 times. But on Vancouver, Samuelsson hit the post twice too lol. Vancouver was actually dominating for the entire 1st. Only problem I saw was that they started to sit back part way through the 2nd so Chicago took over. I know a lot of people are saying Vancouver is gonna win that one in 5 but it's gonna be a bit closer I think unless Vancouver plays more like they did in the first. Their defense is impressive though, they have six top four dmen and also four guys that could play on the top pairing of most teams. And it's pretty much the first time that they've all been healthy. I love how their defense loves to hit too, Hamhuis, Edler, and Salo threw some good ones. Problem I see for the Hawks is that they were playing their top guys (Kane, Toews, Sharp, Hossa, Seabrook, and Keith) for ridiculous amounts in the game and they're gonna get tired. Vancouver has defensive pairings that they can play without really worrying. |

Bruins being talked up as one of the most playoff ready teams but some problems in there game tonight with turnovers, two of them leading to a goal. Montreal didn't look like they had any problem with the physical part of the game and they are a fast team so they have a pretty good shot here. And obviously Carey Price was unbelievable again, great goaltending, Miller helped Buffalo get the win against Philadelphia too. I think the Buffalo upset against Philadelphia is more likely to happen than Mtl but who knows. Ducks might be in trouble. They're planning against an awesome goalie right now in Rinne but their own goaltending is a bit of a mess with Hiller injured. Emery came in during the 3rd period of the game yesterday I think and looks like they're gonna go with him now but he was pretty good at the end of the season. Los Anze-less Kings and SJ goin into OT now, LA hanging in there. Justin Williams had a shoulder injury and is playing now, isn't it a miracle how these guys just happen to come back for the playoffs? They aren't a 100% EDIT: Pavelski just scored the winner and I think it looked exactly like the goal against the Avs last year. Sharks looking like the better team for sure but at least the Kings look desperate. You get burnt when you're too tired to back-check in OT though. Playoff hockey....sooooo good. Goalies have been putting on a clinic all year round, we might get a tonne of close games and OT games. |

Vancouver deserves it, you can say it in that way, and they have the most complete team. Nashville looks very strong in the first playoff game. They are so organized, and have imo one of the best goalies atm. Same with Buffalo, very organized team, and Miller can be unstoppable. Detroit to me will always be a strong playoff contender. It's like the turn on a button and go into super-mode, when playoff starts, even though there second half of the season was not that impressive. I myself - I'm rooting for Montreal, I'm a Habs boy, mainly cause of Lars Eller, but also the team history. So yeah, moderators you can ban me now (just kidding!)

That looks wrong on so many levels, Just in the first round -The Coyotes just ain't beating the red wings no matter how you slice it. -The Canadiens obviously are not going to be swept by the bruins and I see them making it to a game 7 against them in which they will win but that's just a prediction -Rangers can't beat the caps the way they have been rolling lately -It's going to be close but Anaheim is going to beat the preds who don't have the same offensive depth, Anaheim also seems to play best under pressure so don't count out a late series comeback. |

I just hope for a Montreal-Vancouver final. Why? So Gary Bettman will have a heart attack and realize it's time to quit and let someone CAPABLE and INTELLIGENT do the job. |
