Hey... do you think we should make a "General Hockey" subforum... for all leagues?

Do you think it could be at least somewhat popular?

It would be nice with a general hockey-forum, or an NHL one and another for European leagues?

I would think so;
We have the "NHL 2004 in Other Languages" subforum, which has its success. I would be open to it, gives it a wider space for different topics regarding different things in the NHL, as well to other leagues.

Big game tonight for my beloved Blackhawks @ Stars. Possible play-off match-up. I was a bit scared after the Hawks dropped to 6th in the conference, but now I actually think that it would be better if we stayed in that sixth place, since Stars have less points than Blackhawks. I think that we are the most unpredictable team in the league. And Johnny Toews is still out :(

A little off-topic, but the Erie Otters have done a little St. Patrick's Day shenanigans by turning the ice green. I read the article and the author said
"Nothing like taking a hard hit to the glass, getting your bell rung and then trying to reestablish equilibrium by staring at a rink that looks like someone spilled a bottle of mouthwash ..."

I burst out laughing when I read it :P

^ They also paint it pink during the paint the rink pink nights for each team and they wear pink themed jerseys. Not sure if all OHL teams do it but more than a few.

3 fights at the same time off the face-off in the NJ-NYR game and coaches yelling at each other...gonna be downloading this one, you know playoff hockey is close. This Leafs-Bruins game is over after the 1st period lol, Leafs are getting a lottery pick looks like.

:unsure:

meh at the end of the day, when people ridicule me as a leafs fan about how I could tolerate all the losing i tell them to look at their own city, if the Flames or Oilers lost, what else do they have to look forward to in their lil "cities" :bleh: when the leafs lose we just move on to the jays and enjoy the endless amount of entertainment the greatest bestestest city in the world can provide :good:

i could go on and on but I won't

That line brawl was crazy. Definitely makes me miss pre-lockout hockey. Happy to see sweater's coming off.

^ I usually record it but I saw that happen live lol and I changed the channel to the Leafs game which had already started before she started the Cdn anthem. Crosby's trying not to laugh at the beginning and Karlsson's shaking trying to hold his laughter at the end with Anderson smiling.

It was a pretty good game too, 8-4 I think, two fun teams to watch atm.
