I like Canada's fwd group but worried by the defence. It was nice having Keith and Subban there but now it's just mediocre dmen like JBo and Methot and I'm not looking forward to seeing Schenn-Phaneuf play on a big ice surface.

Italy adds Dan Tudin, a scorer, to their roster after he has just got the italian passport. I think he's a player who can really help the team, because as we saw today against Germany (0:3) we need players who are able to find the back of the net.

I will add him in next rosters update (sure will come some NHLers). Today a hard fight with Denmark, 2:0 on final. it seems we underestimate danish boys. Here most of people takes Denmark as loosers, but they have very good team so I was not surprise that we had a problems.

So far what I saw, I was surprised how small are attendance on arenas. Even on finland and sweden is not full. I heard tickets cost 130 Euro. If thats true then its ridicilous. I would never pay that price. Someone must get crazy. On GER-ITA about 1050 crowds, that really embarrassing. Fu*k you Fasel :bad:

Yeah, about the prizes... A 4-personed family in Sweden can go wathing a IHWC-match with about 180 euros (1600 SEK), but in Finland for a same sized family it costs 624 euros...

It's not cheap fun, but they fix it with lying with the numbers... todays USA-FRA had abour 3000 spectators... they said it's a bit over 8000 :D :bad:

Wow did someone saw Mikelis Redlihs skill stick against Russia. That was really nice, shame he not score. I saw him sometimes in KHL and he is really good skillty player. he should try it in NHL.

My schedule today is Finland-Slovakia and Germany-Latvia.

Good game from Latvia yesterday, many good chances but it's the truth: Russians are just too good. But with playing like this, Latvia might be going long in this tournament. Masalskis was good, like in other tournaments too. Extra plus for Latvian fans, i think that even if the tournament would be played in Australia, there would be 300+ Latvian fans :D

Finland had, well a pretty bad game against Belarus. Allright, there was scoringchances, alot of them, but no goals. We were lucky for Belarus not scoring. Vehanen playing today? Hope he plays well. Maybe tonight a bit more people watching the game? Hartwall Areena full?

ITALY 4 : DENMARK 3 !!!! Scandella with the OT-goal! I think the Danish team underestimated Italy, but you could see what a hard-working team is able to do !!!!

Here a nice report about Italy :

Latvia is winning Italy right now  Good chances for the #4 spot in Group S.

Finland is playing against Switzerland today, later. Exciting game, i think it's going to be tough for Finns.

Italy 0 - Latvia 5
Too many penalties for Italy, than the hockey god (first two goals were pretty unlucky) was not on our side today. I did not expect them to win today, but I was a bit disapointed that they stopped fighting after the 3rd goal.

But let's just forget about this game and focus on tomorrows very important game against Norway.

Finland - Switzerland is great game. Finally some good hockey. Im surprised from switzerland. They play very well. It seems they made next improvement. I just still have feelings that refs are a little bit on finnish side each game.

In my opinion refs were clearly on Finland's side. Maybe the home crowd caused that?

We were very lucky to win this one. Switzerland put up a great fight and most of the time they were better than Finland. If they can continue playing the same way I wouldn't be surprised to see them in quarterfinals.
