More progress:

Usage of my layout everywhere while keeping semblance of before (original files pretty much untouched as I made my own in case of usage of both), EA's code is a mess in my opinion.

video (if you want to see a bit more): <-- forgot to show, if you doubleclick a playing video, it loads to fullscreen without breaking game which is just awesome
Code:

Is there any way you can write it so it connects to the internet (either via YouTube or ESPN.com to fetch videos? It would be pretty cool if it did that rather than having to download the video file itself :)

Nonetheless this is pretty interesting, great work! The forum needs more HTML guys :)

Hmm in what exact way do you mean, the way I've shown in my video, works on clicking an image that you can set any you want, which in turn creates an inside of website window by jquery (a javascript library) and acts like a youtube video player (minus controls unfortunately, those would have to be custom, I've tried a similar such with controls but I couldn't make it to look nice without bits of stuff flying all over, limits of game it seems).

Basically it already is connecting to internet & downloading a file is pretty much a given in any way (as that's how client/server to client/server works lol), so I'm wondering what did you mean by fetching from ESPN.

Do you mean it to make it similarly to the rss feed on the right, so it automatically loads only a single video (like in my 2nd I think, video showcase of the ESPN tab) and that it would always be the latest one ? I could try that, problem isn't in code I think, but in if ESPN has optioned at all so others can do it for integration to own website, very similar to my rss feed problem that if you click one of items, it will open IE ( by default as the game is set that way it appears, I guess Mozilla wasn't so popular yet) and from the outside of game I mean, if I set it to open inside game, it breaks, I'm searching for a way to make it contained inside of a popup window like I have for videos but it ain't easy :P

Or did you mean another way? I'll take any requests as long as it's in my power :)

As I've pm'd trent, I'm going to try at least, doing 3 stars of week/month as well as obviously it's a popular wish :D Prolly won't succeed without outside help but that's why there's always forums for particular areas :D

I've made another cheap workaround for goaltending leaders regarding saves percentage and GAA, this time it displays still the correct areas but takes in amount of games played for GAA - for at least an 85% or something guarantee that the leagues better/best goalies are on the list lol; and number of saves for save % - ensuring rookies and almost never/or never playing goalies are not on the list (low amount of games = less saves made overall). For now that's best cheap workaround (though not uploaded yet) though the results will be mixed up lol, for example 1st might have 0,89 save % and 3rd 0,91 save %, 4th again 0,88 save %, which doesn't make sense, but at least you can pretend it's legit lol. Tried fiddling with code with help of other EA's files where it's implied you can use another "rating" but either it doesn't work at all or I can't seem to get it working, was already thinking of asking outside help if they can analyze the code and see what could be done.

Also got a question for some oldschoolers, now I've played the game for years (with breaks) but I've never ever tried the make your own custom team thing, only did a player for a joke once that was it, and I also don't feel like reinstalling the game (and beforehand making a copy of all files I modified ;o).
Did it work at all ? And if it did, did it create an actual new team to play anytime, including season/dynasty, or did you have to replace I dunno, New Jersey Devils with it ?
