Charter Member Posts: 1,631 Group: Members Member #10 Joined: April 5, 2011	GM Xiri missed the game today because of an important meeting, and when he looked at the score when he got home, it didn't look very good; So again a loss, bad season start. also Tukonen and Azevedo got injured so this doesn't look vert good. I may have to do the same thing as trent did, that i change the CPU-assistance back to 0. Well, next game against JYP.

Project Leader Posts: 11,048 Group: Administrator Member #2 Joined: April 4, 2011	CPU advantage 0 worked for me... but it's important to set the faceoff attribute to 50 for all your forwards... otherwise it'll become borderline too easy because winning the faceoffs is way too easy without CPU advantage. That has a big impact on the difficulty level.

NEXT DAY'S SPORT HEADLINE: "GM XIRI CRITICIZES NEW COACH; SAYS TEAM IS SLOW" Xiri throws the new Ilta-Sanomat to the kitchen-table. He didn't remember at all how finnish media would attack you immediately. We'll there's more important stuff to concentrate to, tonights game for example. JYP with a slightly better start than Lukko... Not a good start for Simon Nielsen and Lukko. Olli Sipil�inen scores the first goal for JYP with just 2 minutes in the clock. Lukko managed to tie the game, but then again 2-1; shorthanded, and a way too easy goal for Nielsen. You could already hear some booings on the stands. David Stach was a new name, because of the injuries. And he scored the 3-2 goal, in the end of the 2nd period. Max W�rn took the game to the overtime... But Lukko keeps the 2 points home. This time it'd be time for Oulun K�rp�t to pay a visit, and it would be better to win if Lukko wants to avoid the last position. Actually only one goal was scored in this match. Toni K�hk�nen puts the puck into the net in the 2nd period. Absolutely nothing would go past this guy, Johan Backlund, tonight. 37 saves out of 37 shots tells everything. Charter Member Posts: 1,631 Group: Members Member #10 Joined: April 5, 2011	The season start in Rauma had indeed been tougher than what Xiri thought. The biggest problem had been in scoring. There's a logical explanation for that though, Lukko's main scorers had been injured since the 3 first games. Maybe things will be better when Azvedo and Tukonen come back? Hope so. Mr. Xiri was today called to the URHOtv studio, he could now sit next to one of his all-time hockey idols, Juhani Tamminen, the Don Cherry of Finland. He would maybe have his opinion about Lukko's game? Well, the match ended in a dissapointment, and Xiri didn't understand a word of what Tamminen said, his text was so full of english and french terms, so even Xiri had a hard time to get that into something that made sense.

Tonight would be a game against KalPa, and one thing is for sure; Lukko will only be happy with 3 points today. He checks facebook, a lot of Lukko-fans have joined a group called "Xiri ULOS! (Xiri OUT!)". But he knows how to hold his head cool, he was in the State of Hockey for gods sake! Oh, tonights game will come from the TV. Getting ready! Lukko had the 2-0 lead after 1st period. Here Jerry Ahtola scores Lukko's 2nd goal, a bit of a lucky rebound. KalPa made things tight, scoring the 1-2 goal when just 48 seconds was played of the 2nd period. Players managed to keep their head though. Kauvosaari celebrates the 4-1 goal. And here he scores his 2nd of the night, making it 5-1 for Lukko. Lukko won the match 6-1. I'll also make standings-report after this. 38 seconds in the clock, and Blues scores the first goal of the game. I just love when you can trust your goalies. 2-0 by Henri Laurila. 2-1 goal scored by Juhani Jasu. It was his 2nd goal of the season. But it wasn't enough. Blues scored 3-1 although of Lukko's great efforts to tie the game. 4-1 from 12 shots was enough for Vehanen, but Nielsen didn't have the best start either. 5-1. EA has always been my favourite source of humour. So not the best game ever, and because of this we fell again into the last position. Not exactly how i thought i was going to present my first 10 games And here's the scoring leaders; Melart has good stats for a defenceman:

End of this school-period again, so all the tests and projects of every school-subject have been on the past 1.5 weeks. But now i guess i'll be able to do more (and think of some storylines).

Very good hockey... --------------------- The first month of SM-liiga was now over. The "honeymoon", as some call it. It has been everything else than sweet lovemaking for Xiri and Lukko. But Xiri is keeping his head cool, it's just September. Games in September doesn't matter that much. And now, a big part of the media attention around the GM had dissapeared. Tonight was a big match, the 11th and 12th team, Lukko and Ilves, stepped out from the tunnel of love to the ice of �ij�nsuon Areena, or as sponsored, Kivikyl�n Tuhtitupa. Ready for the faceoff. Rough playing, Tukonen was back and none of the 13 other SM-liiga teams keeps that as a good thing. 1-0 by Kimmo Koskenkorva, a bit of a lucky bounce, but anything counts. Lukko got a dream-start to the 2nd. Here's the first goal (2-0), when just 13 seconds was played of the 2nd. And here's the third goal (4-0), when 2 minutes was played. 3 goals in 2 minutes, and a 4-0 lead. Looks good. Ilves managed also to score. 4-1, in the end of 2nd. 3v3 hockey. Pretty rare, a lot of space. Man of the match with 2 goals, Lukko wins 5-1. Bertrand and Azevedo for a very important line with Tukonen, so they're all important and good players. @Eriksson40 SM-Liiga is surprisingly hard. It's because of low overalls, everybody seems so slow compared to NHL-players. Right now it looks like it's going to be a though challenge even to get to playoffs We'll see...
