Liiga&CHL Sound master Posts: 1,036 Group: Members Member #93 Joined: April 7, 2011	Since the year 2010 Tappara has failed to take the Playoff spot. Now everything has changed. In 2011-2012 Season Tappara anounced that Jukka Rautakorpi "Kulta Jukka" will be the next head coach. He was the head coach in 2002-2003 season when Tappara won the SML, since that Tappara has not been in SML finals. This years teams is strong, very strong. One of the best teams in SML this year, maybe the best. Liiga&CHL Sound master Posts: 1,036 Group: Members Member #93 Joined: April 7, 2011	Tappara is ready Jukka Rautakorpi said that Tappara is ready to the upcming season. Tappara played very well in European Trophy. Tappara played in European Trophy 2012 Finals against Färjestad. 1-3 loss was a disapoitnment but overally Tappara played well. Tappara was the only finish team in European Trophy Playoffs. "We played good hockey, i believe this team. This was a good season start. Still our main goal is from SM-liiga. We must to be ready when it starts. Tappara singned Niclas Lucenius Tappara signed Niclas Lucenius from Dinamo Riga. Lucenius were signed to Dinamo Riga after the 2010-2011 season.

Jukka Peltola`s shot gaved a rebound. Jukka Peltola ganed the lead in 18:37 of the first period. Again a rebound. 2nd Period started with I.Pikkarainen`s goal. Half way in the 2nd Period Tuukka Mantyla`s slap shot made the game 3-1. That was a huge shot. But Pelicans tied the game with two quick goals. Jussi Makkonen scored he`s second goal of the night in time 09:24 of the 3rd period. That was a onetimer by Jukka Peltola. Tappara played well in lead. Juha Metsola keep the goal clean. In time 19:53 Ville Nieminen put the puck in empty net. Tappara wins! Wich one is better? Blue or White one? Over half of the fans said that the white jersey looks better than the blue one. This means that Tappara will play Friday and Saturday home games with the white jersey. -
