Ok, by no means am I a javascript expert, not even a novice. I am in the process of learning javascript just to know some coding, and picked it because I know there is a need for it here in particular. I was just wondering, what kind of JS help do we actually need? Is the main one the IE9+ thing? Or are there some other things that would be helpful. I just want to have something to shoot for and keep me motivated while I'm in this noob-ish state of javascript.

I don't know (have to test it) if the boxscore works for European teams. If not, it would be great if someone could program it.

I would welcome star of the month/ week feature. Dont know if it has to do with JavaScript. Could be on similar way like current game 3 stars.

I'd add salary cap, realignment to the to-do list.

Salary Cap can cause problems with dynasty and auto-transfers.

There are millions of things that come to mind... first you could try arranging the players in alphabetical order in player stats with JavaScript sort option. It's probably quite easy... I just haven't figured it out.

SORT:

sea_boxscore.js

Code:

function getAwayPlayerStats()
{
var sPlayerStats = "";
var sDataHTML = "";
var aHeaderText = new Array(nhlMsg(" PLAYER") , nhlMsg("AB_GOALS") , nhlMsg("AB_ASSISTS") ,  nhlMsg("AB_PLUSMINUS") , nhlMsg("SOG") , nhlMsg("TK") ,nhlMsg ("MS"),nhlMsg ("GV"), nhlMsg("BS") ,nhlMsg ("PN"), nhlMsg("FW") ,nhlMsg ("FL"), nhlMsg("HT", true) );
var aHeaderWidth = new Array( 177 , 40, 40 , 40 , 40 , 40, 40 , 40 , 40, 40, 40, 40, 40 );
var sHeaderHTML = createHeaderRow3( aHeaderText , aHeaderWidth );

Whenever you add something, make 100% sure you're using the latest ESPN interface code (released today by the way). Otherwise it's going to be a big mess with merging two people's work together. The alternative interfaces have old and outdated code. Nothing is more frustrating than people doing duplicate work because they forget to update to the latest released version.
