Wow. Can we use animated GIFs for the textures? Those are at least very easy to make. I've used them in the interface (like the opening ESPN animation). |

Thats one theory I have with this game. NHL 2003 had an animated image on the jumbotrons, and FshED has a .GIF importer plugin. I'm sure if you set the image type right you could have it play on the scoreboard. Same with the LED rings. I like the idea of having it dynamic, but when someone scores a goal, you wouldn't really see the rings unless they showed in instant replay. I like adding textures based on variables though. I'd like to see puck marks on goalie equipment and boards when the puck hits them. That would be really cool!! Vod, I'm willing to help with LUA testing if you'd like! It looks reallly interesting and I'd love to learn what I could do with it

WOW...absolutely no words, Vod. Thank you so much! These animated LEDs will be amazing ingame. Increasing a little bit your list of "is it possible" questions...and I know you said almost everything is possible, it's just a matter of reverse engineering and stuff, but can we make a fight system just like we have on today's hockey games? I mean, not having to wait until the fight overlay appears for you to accept it, but something like hitting "F" when we FEEL like, having fighters on ice and the fight really breaks out? Again, thx a lot. Launcher looks amazing on my tests here. Regards, Franco MDH |

Great things to come! How can you set the dynasty year? Didn't really catch that part well. |

You have to set DynastyStartYear in launcher.ini Here's an example: DynastyStartYear = 2013 |

Cool. The days still don't line up property, but that can be fixed with Javascript. I may submit a patch soon.

Did this and when I start a new dynasty it still says year 2003. Any idea what might be wrong? |

Are you using nhl2004.exe that comes with the rebuilt mod? |

Vod is trying to say that you need the 1.4 default EXE that comes with the interface... not 1.0 EXE for example (which doesn't work with the launcher). |

1.01, 1.03 and 1.04 are all supported for everything but the dynasty date feature. The dynasty date feature requires 1.04 that comes with the rebuilt mod. This will change in the next minor update which is coming soon.

It looks great on my computer, but it is really slow with this launcher (tried 1080p and 720p with same results). Any tips? I have a decent graphics card and have no problem playing new games on 1080p, so wondering what this could be? Something with my switchable graphics? |
