@kariasi: Sorry for the delayed response, I somehow overlooked your message. Texture filtering is much less costly than antialasing, but since most views are top-down you will not see most of the artifacts that texture filtering fixes. If the ice is displayed at an oblique angle, it will appear blurry unless that value is increased. Increasing it shouldn't have much of a performance impact on modern hardware. @redonred No problem. Enjoy

I don't know about your computer but I recommend having MSAA (Multisample anti-aliasing) at 8x. There is no need to have that bigger than that and in fact in most games that is the maximum you can select. You could also increase your texture filtering from bilinear slightly, maybe to 4x anisotropic. Keep in mind that if you have very old Windows XP laptop, I wouldn't use the launcher at all. If you have a modern laptop or a desktop computer running Windows 7 with semi-decent hardware, going up to the maximum with texture filtering shouldn't be a problem. Vertical Synchronization (V-Sync) has nothing to do with lag. What it does is that it reduces screen tearing and actually lowers the frames per second (FPS) you get. I recommend you to disable your triple buffering, you don't get that much advantage of that comparing to the cost of using it as I think you don't have much of a gaming computer. |

V-Sync won't improve FPS lag, but the game will look smoother. NHL 2004 seems to use low precision delta timing. When you combine that with high FPS fluctuation, V-Sync enabled can make a big difference. |

My game definitely runs smoother with VSync enabled. |

Sorry if this has been asked before in this thread, but how could I install multiple copies of the game to same computer? I have an external hard drive available for that. But I can't start the setup, it just says "Insert disc 2". |

So you're having trouble installing the game for the first time? |

Hey im getting an odd error. When i launch the game it says "code injecting failed" it only happens with one copy. And on this copy AVG removed it because it thought it was a virus but i have re-added it and added it to the exceptions list. |

When you say "one copy" do you mean that you have the launcher.exe and launcher.dll in multiple folders but only one of them works? |
