can we help you in any way?

Sure. I need help with locating memory addresses, but I have gotten no takers yet. The rate of progress rests largely on that. That's partially why I can't even give a rough estimate when it comes to a release date since there's no way of knowing when I will come across the memory addresses that I need.

Unfortunately I don't know how to do that...Why don't we post a message board just regarding that...I hope that there are other modders who can assist.

That NBC gameclock you see in screenshots requires the new 2D presentation engine of launcher 1.5.

Disable intro doesn't work for me. Using latest version of the mod.

Code:

DisableIntro = 1

Hey... should we remove the HDR mod entirely from the download threads?

I mean, it doesn't have any use after the Launcher, huh?

I'm having a weird problem with the Launcher. It seems to work one time and then fail the next time, without me changing anything between the two launches. On the 3rd time, if I change the Fov value, it'll then work again for one launch, but fail again for the next one. For the launches that fail, the log in Event Viewer references that the dll is the faulting module:

Faulting application name: NHL2004.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x72454562
Faulting module name: Launcher.dll, version: 1.45.0.0, time stamp: 0x52ced958
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x0000bf50
Faulting process id: 0x608
Faulting application start time: 0x01cfcee60a9dd0f9
Faulting application path: D:\NHL2004\NHL2004.exe
Faulting module path: D:\NHL2004\Launcher.dll
Report Id: 4899ec3c-3ad9-11e4-bb11-742f683e53b4

This is what my .ini file looked like for the 1st launch (which was successful) and for the 2nd launch (which produced the above crash):

Width = 1920
Height = 1080
RefreshRate = 60
Antialiasing = 16
Filtering = 16
VSync = 1
TripleBuffering = 1
Fov = 15

This is what my .ini file looked like for the 3rd launch (which was successful) and the 4th launch (which produced the above crash):

Width = 1920
Height = 1080
RefreshRate = 60
Antialiasing = 16
Filtering = 16
VSync = 1
TripleBuffering = 1
Fov = 10

It kind of reminds me of my Dad's old Pontiac...damn thing only started half the time! :bleh:

I'm using v1.04 of the file and I do have those 2 DLLs (becontrols_pc_z.dll and BrowserEngine_pc_z.dll) registered. If I run nhl2004.exe by itself, it runs fine every time. I'm on Windows 7 64-bit and everything has admin privileges.

Any ideas?

Cheers,
Glen
