Hmm...got it. But how does it looks ok in full screen mode? I'm sorry man, I have no idea how these things work.

I'm not sure what you mean by "looks ok in full screen mode". When you're in the interface the game always sends an 800 x 600 image to windows. In windowed mode, the image will be displayed without scaling. In full screen mode, the image will be scaled to your resolution either by your GPU or your display. This behavior is automatic, the game just sends the image and windows does the rest.

NVidia just added DSR to the drivers of Kepler and Fermi cards. It allows games to render at a resolution larger than your screen and then it downscales the image. Launcher 1.4 automatically detects the extra resolutions and allows you to select one that is larger than your screen based on the setting in your nvidia control panel.

Any chance of creating the score labels horizontally and thinner?

My screenshots are just crude examples; I'm not an artist. I'm sure someone will come up with a better version of the NBC gameclock with perfect scale, fancy animations, transitions and so on.

i think we could change the interface to be at a higher resolution, just html and javascript code there. Would take a long time just adjusting locations of all the elements on the page as not all of them are relative.

Yeah exactly. Although the launcher would also have to modify the hardcode because right now it always opens a 800 x 600 screen and webbrowser control.

Ah I did not know it was hard coded too. So if I created a blank page at a certain resolution it would reset or stretch to 800x600? If so thanks for letting me know! I'm sloooooowly working on something for the Nehl but progress is slow work gets in the way :( anyway good to know not to bother with high res webpages :D

The page would be cropped to 800 x 600, so everything outside of those bounds will be clipped. The interface resolution can be changed in launcher 1.5 and the code has actually been in the launcher for a long time, but there has been little interest in an HD interface due to the amount of work involved. That's why I didn't make it a config option or do much testing.

I haven't really got a clear picture of this yet. How is this amazing project going? All I know is that it is a huge amount of work, but not much else.

It's going good. Major progress is documented in the "1.5 Misc Development Updates" thread. I haven't don't much work in the past couple of weeks because of the holidays, but work will continue. As I said in the other thread, the goal right now is to tie everything together, disable code that needs a lot of work and get an alpha version out as soon as possible.
