No not that, it doesn't bother me neither and Vod said that it's normal, I mean this

When I run the game or when I finnish a match the game is always in this window like mode in the top left corner of my screen and it's really anoying :angry: It's the same when I run the game with the launcher or without, whenever I am in a main menu or a season menu, anything that is outside the MATCH it's windoved :(

Did you try that "disable desktop composition" on Windows.... or whatever it was?

The menu is 800 x 600 resolution and that can't be changed at the moment. So something is preventing windows from successfully entering fullscreen exclusive mode @ 800 x 600.

Did you look for scaling settings like I suggested? Which graphics card do you use? Have you tried manually changing your desktop resolution to 800 x 600 to see if that works?

Nah doesn't work, but I found a solution

@Vod

I changed the resolution to 800x600 on my computer and the main menu goes full screnn and when I play a match the resolution that I chose on the launcher is correct, so all I have to do is choose 800x600 beafore I run the game :D Thanks B)

P.S I have a question, I remember that there was an HDR mode and I saw someone that it isn't needed anymore because of this launcher, is that true ? If I download the HDR mode now it won't make it look any better or ?

ENB doesn't work properly with the launcher, but the launcher will have a much better shader system specifically for NHL 2004. Just out of curiosity, what do you need high-dynamic-range rendering for? The proper contrast is baked into the textures since NHL 2004 doesn't have a lighting engine. Bloom post-processing is also a bad idea since the camera is almost always facing a white surface with scratch marks and lines that need to keep their definition.

Just a little overall question.
Will the scripts be able to control management aspect of the game ?
I explain will it be possible to make scripts controling the trades stuff to make them less frequent and more realistic or even to make them occur as in real seasons (Thinking of pasts ones...)

Yes, but it will be difficult at first until the code for trading is understood.

Sorry for the delay in responding, my family has been on vacation. The launcher should work in Windows 10, but I haven't tested it yet.

FOV modifier
Texture filtering
Antialiasing

FOV modifier modifies the field of view.. In other words, it increases or decreases the camera zoom. A higher value zooms out, a lower value zooms in.

Texture filtering fixes the problem of textures appearing blurry when viewed at an oblique angle. This setting has very little performance impact.

Antialiasing smooths edges, which can have a significant performance impact depending on your hardware. Since you rarely see models close-up in this game, it can be disabled or set to a low value for most people. :

V-sync eliminates tearing that can happen as a result of the scene being rendered out of sync with the monitor's refresh rate. It tells your GPU to wait until the monitor does a complete refresh cycle before sending the picture, which negatively affects performance. Enabling triple buffering may help with that, but can introduce input lag as a result.

Wireframe draws the scene without faces. Just enable it with the hotkey while playing to see.

LOD bias decreases or increases the distance textures need to be from the camera before it automatically switches to a lower resolution mip map. (cuts resolution in half). Mip maping increases performance and reducing shimmering on distant texture.

Max mip level is exactly that - The maximum mip that a texture can use. This effectively reduces texture resolution. This value corresponds to the amount of times the texture dimensions are cut in half.

The rest should be self-explanatory.. Draw FPS draws the frames per second, set process priority allows you to change the priority of the process in windows, and game points is for.. well, changing the points..

FYI, I'm on Windows 10 and F12 doesn't work for me. It's no big deal as I can use the Snipping Tool to take a screenshot, but wanted to point it out in case you weren't aware.

Also, if I click the Screenshot camera icon within the replay screen to take a screenshot, I get a CTD.

It otherwise works as awesome as ever! :)

Just wanna thank you Vod for your hard work. It's incredible what you have done.

Now I'm gonna ask something crazy:

With launcher 1.5., would it be possible to "copy and paste" the 3D crowd and use it to replace the 2D crowd in the upper seats? My english sucks so hope you understand what i meant :D.

Also it would be cool to make the crowd texture bigger so we could have more different people in the crowd :).
