Yes - I didn't forgot to make a video about my season. After fighting with WMM (yes how cool :D) few hours I finally got it uploaded and now it's in your hands. Not the best edit but it's decent. Enjoy!

TPS wins IFK

IFK have faced a lot of problems in their recent performances. The season reminds very much same as two years ago. Right not IFK is even that good and is second to last in the standings. Tonight TPS ran away with two goals made in two minutes when second period was about to end. 3-0 was enough to secure IFK's attempt to come back in to the game. The final countdown has started for certain players.

IFK washes out Kärpät

Helsinki's Ice Hall witnessed a totally reborn IFK as they won Kärpät dominantly 5-1. But the victory wasn't behind of Rico Fata or Corey Elkins. Only Iiro Pakarinen gained two points and all goals had a different scorer. Brad Thiessen allowed only one goal which wasn't far away to be called off because Thiessen moved his glove resulting puck crossing the line. This was by far the best hockey IFK have played this season and this expected to be the turning point of success.

Thiessen got pulled out from the net - IFK wins in shootout

Once again IFK showed what they are really made of as they were losing the game 4-1 at the second period. Strong third period and two goals at the last minute by Juuso Puustinen and Rico Fata with Ville Peltonen massive effort with 1+2 made sure that the team had a chance to steal the ensured victory from Lukko. Brad Thiessen wasn't at the best shape tonight as he allowed four goals against 16 shots. "I had a really bad performance tonight. I let too many rebounds and easy shots go by." told Thiessen after the interview. Team's captain didn't blame Thiessen about Lukko's three goal lead and thanked Antti Ore's great replacing skills. "Our defence was always late or we didn't give enough help. We didn't clean the front of the net and that's why we had to do a lot of work in third period." IFK will face Tappara in Tampere at next week.

Tappara offered a great challenge for IFK in Tampere when then winner required to be decided in shootout. Tappara was leading 2-0 but Juuso Puustinen and Rico Fata managed to bring IFK back in to the game. In third period Tappara got a really tight hold for the win when Mikko Jokela's tripping minor costed a goal by Ville Nieminen with his second of the night. It didn't take more than 44 seconds and Toni Söderholm's strong rush to the net rewarded a game tying goal. In shootout Ville Peltonen and Matti Kuparinen showed their skills and surpassed Juha Metsola. The next match will be at home against JYP.
