No way to answer - JYP sails away from IFK

On the paper tonight's match was supposed to be very intense and equal but JYP turned the tables completely with their dominance. Brad Thiessen was off the shape but even more was IFK's defence. Every rebound was takeable by JYP and the offence didn't produce anything. "This was one of those matches when we don't just leave the ice after the post game analysis." said Toni Söderholm who scored IFK's both goals. October is soon sealed and in month's final match will face Porin Ässät for the second time this season.

Yeah I believe he is going to be the number one unless HIFK won't catch a good free goalie. Husso is in newer updates but wasn't in the game when I started the season.

Ässät leaves IFK scoreless

IFK had trouble once again in finishing when Ässät stole the points in Helsinki's Ice Hall. After numerous great goal scoring attempts IFK's former goalie Juuso Riksman was too strong to surpass and Brad Thiessen's performance with one easy goal let by didn't help the team. "I can't say what went wrong tonight. Ässät used the places better than us and usually that is enough. Juuso was great at the end and I'll give him the respect for that but it doesn't help our game at all." said Matti Kuparinen after the game who managed to shoot six time on goal.

Accouncement

Espoon Blues have approached HIFK and teams have agreed a trade including following players:

From IFK to Blues

Corey Elkins
Mikko Kurvinen
Braden Birch

From Blues to IFK

Teemu Rinkinen
Jani Honkanen
Valtteri Virkkunen

Low scoring continues, IFK wins in shootout

Posted Image

SaiPa - HIFK 1-2 SO (0-1,1-0,0-0,0-0)

The IFK fans had to witness once again low scoring game as the visit to Lappeenranta brought one regular time goal. Teemu Rinkinen and Jani Honkanen did a great entrance to IFK's team as both performed very well as Honkanen made possible that Rinkinen made his first goal in IFK shirt on powerplay. SaiPa managed to tie the game but in shootouts the experience had the biggest talk when Ville Peltonen and Tony Salmelainen were responsible for IFK's victory. Antti Ore managed to stop the puck 24 times and was awarded as the first star of the game. October is over and coming up next is the review from first two months.

Line-ups in this match were

Goalies
#42 Ore
#49 Thiessen

1st line

#16 Peltonen - #96 Fata - #71 Puustinen
#26 Söderholm - #27 Jokela

2nd line

#36 Rinkinen - #11 Kuparinen - #8 Salmelainen
#44 Eklund - #38 Honkanen

3rd line

#39 Luttinen - #89 Block - #33 Somervuori
#2 DeSantis - #55 Wargh

4th line

#19 Talaja - #46 Nykopp - #81 Pakarinen

Some of the reason the ESPN score center didn't have October 31st so there was no box score. :D
