I've tried everything on this site to try and get this game working, but I'm still getting stuck at the White Screen! 

For Problem 1 however when  I try to register the BrowserEngine_pc_z.dll file I get a regsvr32 error:

"" The Module "C:\NHL" failed to load... ... The Specified module could not be found"  And yes I am sure I had the correct path typed.

Please Anyone Help with any other options other than the one's already provided at the beginning this thread.

I really want to try this on my New Alienware 17!

Edit: I have Windows 10 (pretty sure it's the biggest problem!)

The dlls automatically get registered if you start the game using launcher.exe. Since I can't replicate the white screen problem, there's really nothing I can do to help. All I know is it's probably a software problem unrelated to windows 10 API. It could be your drivers, security software etc.

I Disabled my Security Software (and added to exceptions list as well to be safe) and have latest drivers for my Nvidia card, plus I tried switching to internal Intel HD Graphics but same result. What other drivers would there be?

That's a generic error message which hasn't been relevant for 13 years. All it means is the game failed to create the D3D device. The days of updating drivers to fix DirectX 8 problems are long gone.

Wondering if someone can help me. I've tried several installs of the game with Win 10 x64 and get crashes or white screen every time. Antivirus is turned off and I followed the directions to a T. My setup is AMD 9590, Crosshair V Formula-Z MOBO with a GTX 1080. I've tried compatibility optilons and the Windowed=1 thing. Rosters and files are in correct locations.

It should work when you install the interface. Did you run the launcher as an admin and also in xp compatibility mode?

You should disable the intro movie.

If you're using the launcher 1.5, then you should disable the video from the launcher. There is an option for that.

If you're using the launcher 1.45, then you should add the line "DisableIntro = 1" to launcher.ini file

I installed the game to D:\NHL2004, then installed the regular Interface, then installed Launcher 1.5 B4 (no other files yet)
Launcher.exe and nhl2004.exe compatibility set: Windows XP SP3, Run as Administrator

After using the launcher there is a pause and then my entire desktop scales down to I believe 800x600 with a white window with the message "nhl2004.exe has stopped working."

Hey guys!

Anyone know if the game actually works with Windows 10, 64-bit version? It doesn't appear to work for me at least (stuck with the white screen forever even after waiting for awhile), but I'm seeing that the game is in 32-bit format. Could it be related? Makes you wonder...

Edit: Before you ask, no, the game isn't located in one of my program files folders.

Try to start launcher as an admin and in xp compatibility mode. Make sure that your virus software is not blocking the launcher.

You should wait about 4mins tops with that white screen. If it's still there, then try to install interface again.

I'm having problems running NHL 2004 on Windows 10, the original game opens normally, however after installing all mod files, the game doesn't exit the teams loading screen. What could be happening? I'll try to reinstall but need better guidance to avoid mistakes.
