Proposed changes to the CPU/Human trading rules. Please read below as some slight changes and clarifications have been added. 1)Using the NEHL Trade Calculator you would place an offer to the CPU owners like you would an FA offer. List the offer in the thread including the Acceptance percentage and Trade Values. There are no hidden offers and no passwords will be needed. If 48 hours have passed and no new counteroffer (a trade with the same or higher trade value) has been placed, we roll for the acceptance percentage to see if the current leading offer is accepted. If it isn't accepted, we go to the next highest offer from an owner who hasn't yet been given a chance to roll. Trade Value ties are decided by who offered the youngest players by average age. 2) There may only be one open offer per CPU owner at a time and you may counter any additional offers on the same team as many times as you like. You may not counter your own offer. Once the open offer has been resolved to a winner you may place a new offer on that team. If you want to discourage any competiton on a deal make a serious offer right off the bat to avoid getting into a drawn out bidding war. 3)The Trade Calculator would be updated and posted each Sunday night. 4) A player placed in a trade offer to a CPU team must remain on your team until that trade offer is decided and a winner has been announced. Even if that player is included in an offer that is no longer a winning bid. Any questions/Feedback post them here Post your vote here as well and any comments you may have. |

Voted for using it immediately. I like the idea of making the offers public knowledge right off the bat so I know right away which ones I have the best chances of winning. |

Bobby asked: "thanks for the explanation mike! so for example if buffalo and ottawa are cpu teams, I cant make two offers to ottawa and buffalo? i can only counter offer or submit an offer to one of the teams at a time?" Yes, thats correct. |

This proposed system would be better for me and my crazy style, for example 150 Trade Value for Matt Duchene ROFL ![]() But I really like current system of CPU trading, this system is unpredictable, exciting and unique in its essence. So I vote for third option but I'm fine with the other two options. Folks will decide! 1st question: If offers with first and second highest TV aren't accepted, we go to the next (third, fourth etc.) highest offers from owners who haven't yet been given a chance to roll??? 2nd question: Why am I not allowed to make 2 offers for 2 CPU teams with different players at the same time? |
