I have to say I like these new cpu trading rules even though I voted for it to begin as of the next season but Mike...I would never do such a trade (I mean the second sample, MTL counter offer)

Scenario: Mike's second offer is accepted and my question: Am I allowed to make an offer for Toffoli/Tlusty before realese of updated Trade Calculator? (Toffoli wouldn't be on NJ roster by current TC) |

Good question.... No, you would have to wait for the next trade calculator to come out. The main reason being the CPU GM's wouldn't have accurate roster information to base their decisions on. I'll make an amendment to the rules to include this scenario. Zeig |

Offer is initiated on Friday, countered on Saturday, countered on Sunday. New TC is released on Sunday. To counter the offer on Monday we still follow the original TC correct? (Updated one would not be used until the next new offer is initiated) Should we list the version of the TC being used in the title to avoid confusion? |

Good point Kyle..... We should probably date the Trade Calculators as they are posted each Sunday night. I'll amend the rules so that the first person posting an offer will make sure they also include in the subject heading the version of the Trade Calculator they used to post the offer. All owners countering the offer would have to use the same trade calculator until that offer was final. So an example might be..... "Phoenix offer to Devils (TC Jan 18)" I'm wondering if there is a better way but this should work for now. |

I think listing in the title should work. As long as it is listed there is no excuse to not follow the proper version. |

yeh I agree, just putting it in the title should be fine. Then that deal is connected to a certain trade calculator. Cant wait! |
