The trade calculator is here: MAY 3RD TRADE CALCULATOR Just a few things, if you have any questions please read the rules beforehand: NEHL LEAGUE RULES Key rule highlights are: - Rookie trades come under a voting process. Voting will last 48 hours, rookie owners can participate as well. A NO vote must come with a good explanation of why you have voted NO, otherwise it will be nullified. 5 NO votes makes the trade nullified and both owners are barred from trading with each other for 4 weeks. EDIT: New addition, veteran owners will be kicked from the league if they amass 3 NO voted trades in one season - Rosters can not have less than 12 forwards, 6 defencemen and 3 goaltenders. If you fall under this category your trades must reflect a need to get back within NEHL roster regulations. - Salary cap is $53 M. Calculations for your team are automatically included in the Trade Calculator. They are simply your top 12 costing forwards + top 6 costing defenseman + top 2 costing goalies. - Rookie owners please beware that grinder designated players are valuable. For example, if you have 6 grinders on your top 12 forwards group, you receive a $7 M discount, meaning you can be $7 M over the cap and still be fine. You have been warned so be careful! - Free agent bids last 24 hours. Example is here: Free Agent Bid Example - Cpu trades in the locknote file are to be posted with player/draft pick numbers and the TV and TA #s. If you are unsure please ask, send me or any veteran NEHL owner a PM on skype. - CPU trade bids last 48 hours and you can only post on the cpu designated trade thread Rookies please look over the trade calculator over and get accustomed to it. Good luck to everyone, any questions please post on this thread so others can see it. Regards, Paybak |

IMPORTANT UPDATE, ENFORCERS (ENF) ARE NOW TO BE TREATED AS GRINDERS. Defenseman can also be ENF, there are a few who are like Gudas and Brookbank, however these players will not count towards the Goon Bonus. This will add a few more options out there for you guys. |

First of all: That's a good Idea! I just wonder why defenders like Brookbank or Gudas don't count towards the bonus. Since Brookbank is on my team and among my top 6 defenders, that would help me out. An ENF is an ENF. Just because there are just a few defenders who are ENF is not much of an argument in my opinion. The low salaries of these ENF defenders aren't an argument either, since the forwards are cheap too.

Jewlz asked for this to be confirmed so here it is: Outside of your top 12 forwards, 6 defenseman and 2 goalies you may not have anyone over $1.5 M. This includes bonuses for free agents. This means players just at the $1.5 M mark are ok, but one cent over $1.5 M and you cannot keep them. |
