I'm looking for someone's help with some HTML/Javascript.

I'm looking to make ONLY the NHL selectable (in play now/shootout/edit lines etc.) in all parts of the game, wherever it may be.

Anyone's help on this would be amazing!

That'd be cool for the 1996 and 1999 mods as well. :good:

You can find the example codes from "All national teams mod".

I don't have codes right now but there were functions "changeLeague()" or "initDrpAwayLeague()" and "initDrpHomeLeague()".

In these spots in the all national teams you can find the way to do these where is just one selected league. :)

game_setup_interface.js and .html are for exhibition mode.

Thank you Sence for the helpful info!

I'll look into that later tonight :)

Trent if I succeed I'll share my findings :)

I got it!

Here are the javascript files. This overwrites the string found in local.viv, so you have to open it, search for any instances of "QMJHL", and change it to your desired league name :)

Actually I just tested it. Works like a charm.

Where in \fe\nhl\local.viv the string "QMJHL" is located? Where should I search it from?

Can you do it for this file, so I could use it for both 1999 and 1996.

I don't think that you have to change something in local.viv.

Edit the file game_setup_interface.js:
Line 547 + 615

Edit the file edit_lines_interace.js:
Line 1455

Perfect, thanks. :perfect:

I will add this to 1996 and 1999 patch. Much more professional when you don't have non-supported leagues in the menus.

Great work, Nick. Heads up for other modders, I was able to adapt this to the AHL mod by simply opening up both .js files and changing instances of QMJHL to AHL. For the NHL vintage seasons, just change it to NHL or whatever league name you want.

Hi guys, can you help me what to do if i want only DEL league select mable?Thank you

Edit the file game_setup_interface.js,

you can use these: Just one (international) league code

It is made for All national teams patch. There is no league dropdown at all. Don't extract over your codes because there is also something else and if you have already changes in your game setup menu. Also it has older interface in the base code. Just take a look of game_setup_interface.js and make the same changes what I have made.

For example all:
- drpAwayLeagues and drpHomeLeagues lines are commented. All of them!
- initDrpAwayLeague() and initDrpHomeLeague() are commented

Inside functions initDrpAwayTeam() and initDrpHomeTeam() you should change number 1 to 4. 1 = international and 4 is DEL.

Inside the functions setAwayTeam() and setHomeTeam() there are multiple lines commented and just one new line. The last one.

Check the changes in the function SwapTeams().

You can use my game_setup.html code from the .zip. It should work. Or you can comment those league lines like in my code. :)

Good luck!
