What is the default value on Puck Gravity? When I use the latest launcher the Puck goes all weird to me (settings at 2.5).

2.5 is the default. Did you make sure to delete the launcher folder before updating?

I updated from non-beta version (after nvidia update the 1.4 launcher won't work), so there was not any launcher folder.

The beta version works, but the puck gravity is changed or weird. It is on 2.5. I'm on Win10 64 bit.

In what way is the gravity messed up? Have you checked the gravity slider? That gravity constant is separate from the gravity slider. So it is always 2.5 without the launcher.

When I dump the puck it is glued to the ice. Puck Gravity is at 2 in-game.

I've changed Puck Gravity around and there is no changes, puck is still on the ice, when dumping. I can see the puck go up though, when in offensive zone and shooting. Just not anywhere else. Really strange.

No issue on 1.5 Beta 1 version, the puck works fine here, but got some other zoomcam bugs on this version though.
After testing this and updating to 1.5 beta 4 version I have the weird puck again....

Some further testings: I got the puck issue on all versions except on Launcher 1.5.0 - B1

I just confirmed it myself. I have no idea how I missed this for so long. I have done countless tests since then.  Thank you for the report and making me question my sanity. I will re-upload beta 4 with a fix. :)

In the meantime, you should be able to just delete launcher\scripts\system\Callback Shots.lua. You'll just lose the shot speed display.

Thanks man. The temp-fix is working.

hi guys,

just a question in regards to the Launcher 1.5, what about gameclocks?!? I mean "long, central" gameclock (like the one in this video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFr887NBTyc)

is it possible to have them? they look sooooooo much better than the "old" ones... it's a detail yes, but still it gives the game a nice 'finish touch', more realist overall imo.

thank you!
keep up the amazing work on this amazing game

Are you planning to add more gameplay/physics altering value possibilities there, such as animation speed etc.? My biggest gripes with this game are gameplay related, such as the animation speeds being too fast correlated with the skating speed. Is this doable?

Other than that, nice work.

That gameclock was a proof of concept that was never finished because I didn't have time or patience to make a POG for every team. So it only would have worked with CHI home and STL away. If I'm reverse-engineering, developing the launcher GUI, maintaining the lua scripting engine, fixing bugs and doing everything else, that leaves little time for me to also write scripts and create art. Lua scripts have all of the functions they need for an artist to make game clocks.

Here's the thread requesting artists: http://z15.invisionfree.com/NHL04Rebuilt/i...?showtopic=5088

Sure. Anything can be changed with launcher 1.5. The problem is reverse engineering is a slow process, especially if only one person is working on it. Over time more and more physics and gameplay variables will be added to the GUI. I have a list of variables I still need to go through and see how they work and relate to each other.
