Description
This is nhl2004.exe with the "Large Address Aware" NT header flag enabled. This allows the game to allocate more than 2gb of ram. Recommended if you use launcher 1.5.

Note
This is not compatible with launcher 1.45.

No idea, but it may help with the buffer overflow that causes a crash during loading, especially if used with the launcher texture management and the launcher ditty engine.

@bigrowdy: Yes

Vod do you have ANY idea what might force some matchups crash in the exhibition mode. Same matchups work like a charm in the season mode.

What is different in the loading process.

Large Address Aware EXE doesn't seem to help.

No idea. There's lots of things that can cause a crash, such as the overflow problem. Not sure why it differs between game-modes though. It could be a bug in the hardcode or It might have something to do with extra PBP lines being just enough to edge it over the limit. Everything adds up.. ditties, textures, models, cybers, pbp lines. When it crosses an arbitrary limit, the game crashes. Every time a new cyber or ditty is added to a team, that's one step closer to a crash. That's why I suggest using the launcher for ditties, arena textures etc. It allows you to delete your default ditties and reduce arena textures in viv files to 4x4 dummy textures. One thing that may help is going through and fixing the numerous problems with the rebuilt viv and fsh files. There's lots of problems there. If a .viv file is compressed and it contains viv files, those viv files shouldn't also be compressed, but many are, especially in face2004.viv. This causes the game to pointlessly use more memory and increases loading time. It's like zipping a zip file. There's also fsh files that aren't formatted properly. It might be time for a spring cleaning. That's why I made that problem finder utility a while back.

That's interesting. Does compressing make any purpose at all?

For example all files inside teamXX.viv are compressed. What if we leave everything uncompressed? Does it affect anything except the file size?

I will experiment.

And yeah... I will definitely make new v2 ditty pack when the new Launcher is ready for the interface.

Thanks for the input.
