Is it possible to use the original NHL 2004 interface? I'm wondering if that would cause the game to crash or interfere with any of the other add-on files.

Also wondering if anyone knows how to switch back to the original interface after installing the ESPN one (besides installing from the disk again ;) )

No it's not working. ESPN and NHL.com interfaces "crack" the game in order to work in modern computers.

And you'd be missing tons of new features in the mod, even if it was possible to revert back.
