Is there any chance that anyone has tried using a 360 controller on NHL 09 here? Apparently it's a big problem and might have a fix? If anyone can give me a heads up, just curious to mess around with 09 again for fun and comparison.

I fixed it by using Xinput +, this essentially converts xinput devices to direct input (for older games). Give it a try if you are tech savy, otherwise I can share my config with you later!

That sounds great. I'll give it a go. But I'd be curious to look at the config file, though. There's more than one game that this will help me with if it works.

Hey, can you tell me a little more about how you use it or maybe a guide you used to learn? I don't see much info other than the software. For example, what about all the contemporary games where I still need X-Input to work properly? I can't understand whether you can have both types of input working simultaneously.
